Morning Meetup in La Paz (7:30am) Begin the adventure by gathering with your expert guides and group in bustling La Paz. Here, you’ll gear up with high-quality bikes and get a safety briefing from your English-speaking guides.

High-Altitude Start at La Cumbre (4700m) Kick off your ride from the stunning snowy heights of La Cumbre. The journey begins with a smooth tarmac road—perfect for boosting your confidence and acclimatizing to the altitude. An early uphill section offers a challenge, but you can always take a break in the support vehicle if needed.

Enter the Infamous Death Road After the checkpoint at Undavi, the thrill intensifies: the tarmac ends and the notorious “World’s Most Dangerous Road” begins, winding along cliffs and cloud forest. Pause for an extra safety talk and dramatic views—this is Instagram gold! The descent is 90% downhill, ranging from dusty trails to rocky patches, even passing under streaming waterfalls. Photo Stops & Epic Vistas Breathtaking views unfold at every turn. Frequent stops offer time to snap photos, admire majestic valleys, and catch your breath as you descend from 4700m to 1100m. Arrive at Yolosa and La Senda Verde Animal Refuge After 4-5 adrenaline-filled hours, reach the green oasis of La Senda Verde. Refresh with showers, enjoy a well-deserved buffet lunch, and toast with a cold beer. Meet rescued animals and unwind in the lush surroundings. Optional Zipline Adventure For the brave, there’s a chance to soar above the jungle on a zipline—ask your guides for details.

Evening Return or Optional Overnight After the break, board the bus back to La Paz (arriving around 8-9pm), or choose to spend the night in Coroico or at the animal refuge in cozy cabins—an unforgettable way to extend your Death Road experience.
