Immerse yourself in a one-of-a-kind experience that combines culture, history, and nature in the heart of the Andes. This full-day to Sacsayhuamán, we drive 15 minutes to the traditional community of Wayllarcochaand traditional communities, providing a deep connection to the rich Incan heritage.
1️⃣ Visit to San Pedro Market (1 hour) Start your adventure at the iconic San Pedro Market, the cultural and culinary heart of Cusco. Explore the colorful stalls filled with fresh fruits, traditional dishes, and local crafts while experiencing the authentic daily life of the Cusqueños.
2️⃣ Inca Ritual Trail: Qorikancha – Ñustapakana (1 to 1.5 hours) After the market, embark on the recently restored Inca Ritual Trail, connecting Qorikancha to Ñustapakana, located in the upper area of the Sacsayhuamán Archaeological Park. This ancient path, once used by Incan elites for water-related rituals, offers spectacular panoramic views and a deep connection to Andean spirituality.
3️⃣ Exploration of Sacsayhuamán (1 hour) Continue to the majestic Sacsayhuamán fortress, a masterpiece of Incan engineering. Its massive stone walls and strategic location provide a breathtaking perspective of the former Incan capital. 📌 Note: Entry to Sacsayhuamán is not included and requires a Cusco Tourist Ticket or individual payment.
4️⃣ Lunch & Visit to the Wayllarcocha Community (2 hours) After exploring Sacsayhuamán, we drive 15 minutes to the traditional community of Wayllarcocha. 🍽️ Lunch: Enjoy a delicious Andean meal, prepared with fresh local ingredients at a traditional restaurant. 🧶 Textile Center Visit: Experience the "Manos de la Comunidad" Textile Center, where local artisans preserve ancestral Incan weaving techniques. Observe the full process of spinning and dyeing using natural dyes, interact with the weavers, and get up close to alpacas and llamas, essential animals in Andean culture.
5️⃣ Transfer to Cristo Blanco Viewpoint (10 minutes) Following the community visit, we head to the Cristo Blanco Viewpoint, where you’ll enjoy a stunning panoramic view of Cusco and its surroundings.
6️⃣ Transfer to San Cristóbal Viewpoint (10 minutes) Next, we continue to the San Cristóbal Viewpoint, another scenic location perfect for capturing breathtaking photos of the city from a unique angle.
7️⃣ Return to Cusco (10 minutes) We conclude the experience with a return to Cusco, wrapping up a day filled with culture, history, and unforgettable landscapes.
