During your journey to the islands of Uros and Taquille on Lake Titicaca, an English-speaking guide will be with you every step of the way. Uros consists of islands built entirely of totora reeds, housing a historic community that originated before the Inca era. Take the opportunity to interact with the residents before heading to Taquile, an island with cultural ties to the Aymara people of Bolivia. Following a locally made lunch on Taquile, you will have the chance to visit the community cooperative and witness the impressive weaving skills of the local artisans.
